There was a time when I thought it rather odd to talk of ‘magnifying God’ because we cannot make him bigger than he is. However, I came to realise that when we magnify anything we do not change the size of what we are looking at; rather what we see appears larger and/or clearer. So, it is good when we use our spiritual magnifying glass when we look to God.
My God is able to do exceedingly abundantly more than I could ever hope or imagine. It’s not about how magnified my challenges are at this current time it’s about lifting up my hands to this King of Glory knowing that he is Magnificent all seeing all knowing. I have to remember All things are working together for MY good. Sis tou continue to bless and inspire me to hold on. God bless you real good. X
I’m so glad that He always finds a way to encourage us – what an awesome God we serve! Keep holding on my friend; we are closer now than when we first believed.
Amen! Thank you for taking the time to comment; may God continue to bless you as you magnify Him with all the gifts and talents that He’s placed within you.
Gods word arrives on time. It did for me today, I have been focusing on a problem, a huge problem and the more you focus on it, the bigger it becomes. As through a looking glass, interesting ! I hadn’t thought about it quite that way before.
We sometimes get overwhelmed with our problem, see it a huge, but instead we should be concentrating on our huge our God is.
Thank you for this today Carol.
God has spoken and put me back on track. He will deal with the huge stuff it is not for us to magnify it. Amen!
Our God is an on time God! So glad that He’s reminded you today of how big He is Michele. No matter how big our problems may seem to us, He is far bigger! Watch how He’ll work this situation out as you magnify Him…
How wonderful to know that we serve a God who is greater than all our problems! When we magnify Him from true hearts, we open up channels of praise and worship that transcends us into higher realms. We see His magnificent power generating in our lives. Let us continue to magnify and exalt Him together!
I’m learning more each day how to exalt His name – the name that is above every other name – and am amazed that the more I magnify Him, the more I benefit from it! What a privilege to serve such an awesome God.
Wow Carol, thankyou so much, this is a great thought for today! I love this and will remember to Magnify Him rather than my problems. -When I was little my father showed me how sunlight through a small magnifying glass could burn a piece of paper. Also, when my son’s vision was seriously impaired he had to use high strength magnifiers,(thankfully less now due to treatment). Your TFT has made me question how I view God. I want to see His Might, Magnificence and His Detail through the intense magnifying power of the Holy Spirit. If I can keep my eyes on Jesus and all He has done I have every reason to praise and Magnify His Name.
Thank you for your wonderful comment Edith; you’ve encouraged me to see ‘His Detail through the intense magnifying power of the Holy Spirit.’ What a powerful image that arouses!

Amen JH – let’s endeavour to always use ‘our spiritual magnifying glass’, so we can see Him more clearly.
