Another great blessing coming through you Carol,
very interesting because just before I read this my attention was drawn to look out of the window where right outside there ensued the comments of people gathered around,
re the much anticipated arrival of a new born baby- and I earwiggd the sounds of
“oh he looks just like his Mum” … your words prompt me to think in these developing times, where we’re increasingly being given the choice to reflect on whose we are, as we see the word of God actually coming about from Bible Prophesy – “what kind of people ought we to be” now,
in order to shine …and reflect the Kingdom of their Father, in Jesus name.
Thank-you and
every abundant blessing Carol.

Thanks for your comment MMOV; you ask a sobering question as to what kind of people we ought to be. I pray that while we have breath in our lungs, we will take the opportunity to rise, shine and reflect His glory to a dying world.
Oh to love like Jesus. To see everybody through the eyes of Jesus. Jesus was full of compassion, having nowhere to lay His head did not bother Him. Even when He knew He was about to raise Lazarus from the dead “Jesus wept”. We often remark this the shortest verse in the bible, but what about the measureless compassion Jesus exhibited. Before feeding the multitude Jesus had compassion for they were like “sheep without a shepherd” Oh to express more clearly the compassionate love of Jesus which I believe goes hand in hand with surrender of self. Completely. After all being saved heaven awaits, so till then there much to do in His name and for His glory. Uppermost in my mind is Jesus “came to seek and save that which was lost” and as soon as we receive power through the precious Holy Spirit it is for enabling to witness locally and globally. I will do this till my last breath so others who don’t know the compassionate love of Jesus will do so for there is nothing greater. “Greater love hath no man that that He lay down His life for His friends” This is a statement that always takes my breath away. I mean…why me?
Why you? Because ‘… God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.’ John 3:16.
‘Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!…’ 1 John 3:1
My thought as I read through your thoughts lead me to think about this.
I was trying to imagine how wonderful it would be as a Christian believer of Jesus Christ to here someone say “She sounds like Jesus.” “ I wonder if she is a Christian.” 😁 what a thought!🤔
How wonderful to be Classed as being like Jesus, it would certainly give room for thought about what we can do to improve how we are in our day to day life around others and for our own relationship with him to be so very close that we resemble him. 🤔 He sees the heart of a person. But people need to see the actions of a person to read their hearts. Amen!!
Oh to be more like Him. If others see the fruit of the Spirit at work in our lives, it will surely cause them to ponder why our words and actions differ so greatly to that which is considered to be the ‘norm’ in today’s society…
