Bless you Carol. Reminds me we have to be in the game to catch God’s will. Thanks for this thought provoking post!
Got to be in the race to win the prize ….
This is interesting, because we often doubt ourselves and not only that we doubt the plan God has for us, hence we miss the ball.
The bible teaches us through the scripture to be wise and to listen to the word of God because like Gideon, look what he achieved, slowly but surely the light came. To be anxious for nothing! Philippians 4: 6-8
This week I had a major meltdown. I dropped the ball and forgot who I am in HIM. I became anxious, I felt I had no reason or purpose. I then had a come to Jesus moment, I dropped to my knees in prayer. I remembered I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I remembered greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world. I remembered that the Lord will lift me up with his righteous right hand. The amazing thing is that in grief dropped the ball but God in his wonderful Grace saw fit to enable me to catch his word and settle it in my heart. I know who I am and by God’s Grace I will make it. Thank you for the reminder
Praise God that you were able to ‘catch’ the Word that was already hidden in your heart. Had you not been diligent to hide His Word in your heart, Holy Spirit could not have brought to your remembrance that: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” “Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world.” “The Lord will lift me up with his righteous right hand.”
Keep holding on and looking up – you are nearer now than when you first believed.

Well put Martin – “we have to be in the game to catch God’s will”. Thank you for your comment; continue running the race that He has set for you.

Thanks for your comment Michele; I agree with you that we must listen and apply wisdom so that we do not miss the ball!
