Hi there! My name is Carol, and I enjoy watching the sun rise and set, preferably over water and whilst holidaying on a cruise...

Praise God Carol, he tailors such pristine detail in all that he makes.
We are all part of his creation, but unique to His artistry as it is perfect. We can add to the skills of the father. Beautiful Counsellor, perfect Teacher, healing Physician, and now intricate ARTIST!! But in word ‘CREATOR’!

The world longs to boast of designer items in their possession, but I pray that those outside of the Body of Christ will have an encounter with the ultimate and original designer, and boast only in Him and His marvellous works!

Thank you for your comment Michele.

    Yes you are – Amen!

No matter what lies the enemy throws at us, let’s choose to focus on the truth of God’s Word.

What a beautiful thought. I am feafully and wonderfully made. Whatever my perceived imperfections God did not make a mistake. I am part of the Royal Priesthood. How apt especially for me this week . Although the outward appearance changes the inner man is renewed daily . I thank God and give him praise. I am his unique creation. Hallelujah

Thankyou for this Word for Today – it is something we are often ready to offer to others in encouragment but harder to accept and acknowledge for ourselves. I’m reading notes for Advent and today’s readings from Matthew 2 and Luke 2 linked with Job 39, Is 60 and 61 Micah 5 , Job 38 and Amos 5 and all show just how intentional God is . Nothing is by chance. A King born in a manger, no stranger to suffering, poverty, rejection or exclusion. Our Saviour, the one who calls us to love and hope without conditions because He is Love and Hope. As you explain, he has lovingly, intentionally and purposefully designed and chosen us to reflect Him and to love and serve others. Incredible , wonderful God.

To think that our uniqueness is by design (despite how others may feel about that); what a God!

Quirky, unconventional – whatever label is used to describe us, we are a designer original!

Thank you for your comment Edith.
