Made me smile when I read today’s thoughts!
I remember those days also, and the days when my own daughter was growing up, she did exactly the same, wanting to be in big shoes, like her mum. Even from that early age we are striving for bigger things, because God has a plan and it starts with the urgency that is in every child to become bigger, just what God has designed for us, to be Bigger and better and all that he has created.! The scriptures tell us our life story, if we search hard enough we will find the bigger part.
Big shoes my mum used to say the funniest things when I would push my small feet into her big shoes…as an adult I never want to walk or journey a path that not destined for me. Scripture tells us to ponder the path of your feet then all your ways will be sure prov 4.26. . Lord help me to walk the walk you have planned for me. X
Amen, yes; if we are willing to walk on the path that He has prepared for us, though we may falter and fall at times, I am confident that He who began a good work in us will be faithful to complete it. (Philippians 1:6)
