What a clear example you have given regarding how easy it can be for us to be ‘looped’ into someone else’s frequency! It is a reminder that we need to constantly test our connection to our Father; listening for and identifying His true word. Let us always abound to make sure we are aligned, in range and sourced to the right frequency.
As I read your God inspired TfT it suddenly struck me how critical it is to stay connected to the source. I’m on call as the out of hours emergency contact for my employer this weekend. Two things stand out. Firstly my phone was playing up and I missed a call. I took it for granted that if my phone did not ring that there was not an emergency. I did not check the phone to ascertain whether anything could possibly be wrong that could disrupt the line of communication. The lesson for me is never take for granted that all is as it seems. Thankfully there was nothing serious that was considered an emergency. Secondly, once I resolved the issues with my phone ,when the phone rang it was clear undisputed communication. I was the recipient of devastating news. My prayer is that I always stay connected to the source ,not allowing anyone to frustrate the line of communication and that I’m on the right frequency to be receptive and honour who I am in HIM.
Thank you for that great illustration Yvonne. It’s a helpful reminder for us as children of God, to check that nothing is prohibiting our communication with our Father.
Glad that no urgent issues were missed in your work situation. Trusting also that God will walk with you through whatever issues the news that you received presents.

Amen and Amen PS! I pray that we will always be listening, and so quickly able to discern any static on our frequency.
