Hi Carol this hit home on many levels and reminded me of God’s provision in so many ways that I’ve experienced, but also made me think of His constant protection and provision that I’m not aware of! that goes on all the time.
It did remind me as well of my rather negative inward response years ago, when eager to leave a place that I had been, I heard the voice of someone calling after me and eager to leave I promptly ignored it.
After persistent continuing of the calling I was forced to turn around and see the person who was pursuing me – who said “sorry to bother you…er, I think you left this”
…it was my phone!
oh, thank you Lord!
Your experience in the physical Mighty Man Of Valor, demonstrates how in the spiritual we are sometimes reluctant to turn and heed the voice of our Lord when He is calling.
May we now be quick to recognise His voice, turn and then like Samuel, respond “speak Lord, your servant is listening.”
I continue to give thanks to my Heavenly Father who showers me with His grace and mercy. He never fails to keep me upright and make provisions; especially when I think there is no way forward. I will forever give Him praise, knowing that He is behind, beside and in front of me.
Yes his goodness and mercy has followed me all the days of my life to date.
Although trials have come, I look back at what God has done for me along the way. At the time of the trial I just could not see how I would get through and even asked God to take me home, but he somehow relieves the stress with his peace. When we call on the name of JESUS something happens that passes human understanding, his PEACE comes and we have another day. We start all over again. He makes provisions for us, whether it with a word from a friend, a scripture or Bible verse, his Holy Spirit intervenes and he intercedes on our behalf. What an amazing God we have. He will have the last word. His love is forever and ever. Amen!

We have an all encompassing God! He is worthy of all our praise.

Praise be to God that you can testify that you have recognised His goodness and mercy, as they have followed you through your various trials.
