Thanks for your comment JH. Hopefully, when those testing times come, we will be quick to remember what God has promised, and remind ourselves that we should be anxious for nothing.
Praise God for your words of wisdom this Sabbath day.
Exact same verse I preached on this morning in Wales! Glory to God
And of course we rejoice with the Angel who pronounced …and His name will be Immanuel (God with us) I thank God that He never leaves us nor forsakes us. What a God we serve!
Thank you Carol
Blessings from cold Wales!

God is moving by His power in all the earth! I pray that our ears will be attentive so as to hear His voice and that we will be swift to act according to His will. Continue to stand on His Word Martin.
Philippians 4: 13. ‘I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me’ Comes to my mind, simply because since the beginning of lockdown the trials have been in a category of “ not for the faint hearted”
It has been and still is a rollercoaster of storms.
But with God in control of all things, I know he will see me through and supply all my needs. Praise his name!!
I can relate to Paul, Job, and many characters in the Bible, but would I have been able to be strong without a relationship with Jesus in there with me. 🤔. I doubt it. 🙏
Our storms come in different ways, but when they come, lean on Jesus, as he is the author and finisher of our faith. Hebrews 12: 2 He knows all things, as far as even knowing every hair on our heads.
What a God we serve – down to numbering the very hairs on our head – He’s awesome!
The times that we are living in now, are as you say, not for the faint hearted, but if we wait on Him, He will renew our strength. Keep on trusting that He who has promised is faithful.
Thanks for this reminder of God’s promises; just the message we need when in troubled times.
